We've been developing lean tools and techniques over the last 20 years and have broken new ground in lean thinking. We have some of the industry's best lean 'sensei' who deliver learning, and we can show how our lean tools and techniques (which we've grouped together and branded 'The Unipart Way') are actually being used to deliver real business benefits for our clients such as Jaguar Cars and Vodafone, so learning is not just classroom-based.

And we don't just restrict lean thinking to factories either. We've also implemented the Unipart Way across our warehouses and offices, and even into our head office restaurant, demonstrating that lean thinking can be used anywhere. We also implement the Unipart Way inside our clients on a consultancy basis- for example we're currently working with Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs implementing lean into their administration processes, and the National Audit Office estimated that the Unipart Way will save taxpayers more than £400 million as HMRC has adopted lean principles in partnership with Unipart (see press release).

We need graduates to help us implement lean for both existing clients in our operations and in consultancy. You'll be given training in well recognised and respected tools like Six Sigma and PRINCE2, before getting the chance to hone and practice your new skills. The training will be comprehensive so no particular academic background is necessary, although if you have studied lean, this would be an advantage.
